Went down the street for a couple hours found a real nice fired bullet in the front yard of a friends house he rents, it was only 3 inches deep right where the kids have been playing and digging, they came close to finding it. It looks as though it was fired and skidded on the ground. Also found this nice token from sedalia, Mo. Pehl & Kueck Budwieser bar. Good for 2 -1/2 cents in trade. Also a round minnie small caliber and a little clad. And a pocket full of junk.. Anyone knows how to clean up this token, I dont know what the metal is but I put it in some peroxide and it didnt even fiss, you got me. I worked on it for awhile but it needs some more. Its real light maybe zinc or alluminum(dont know how to spell) or ? what other material did they use to make tokens back in the day? Thanks for looking a HH. ;D JYD

Started going through what I thought was junk and found a lid off a hunters case watch=I believe... Its dented in pretty bad but I think its still part of history for my site. I thought it was a bottom off a can or something but it felt to heavy. Thanks for looking. HH JYD

That is a nice token. It is made from aluminum.

Those of that style usually date around 1900-1920 in my area, sometimes a tad bit older.

A brass brush works on the aluminum tokens. It will also arrest the aluminum corrosion.
Thanks alot plehbah, I was wondering about how far back this token goes. We are going to be in Sedalia thursday for turkeyday, I planned on doing some asking about this bar. Hey thanks again and I will try a brass brush tomorrow. HH JYD

nice token with 2 1/2 cents in trade has to be at least early 1900's great find
