Hit my favorite field for 7 hours and wasn't let down. This is the best variety I've gotten in one day from this place. The condition is never great on coppers though and today was no exception. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460260090.444818.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460260230.379059.webpI think the coronet head is 1819?, the KG is 174?, but the farthing is a mystery. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460260285.263953.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460260313.754333.webpThe only things I can match with are the King Charles coins from the 1670's. The reverse of my coin is a complete blank. Does anyone have a alternate opinion? I'd really love to know because 1675 would be my oldest coin (and it would be in MA silver territory age-wise). Also got the 1898 Barber which was cool since my others are all 20th c.
What the heck is this thing?
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460260407.459095.webp looks like a huge nail but the bend makes it look like a tool of some kind.
Here's the whole batch with a dandy button and the other buttons.

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

I like that kind of variety. The other day I hit 3 large cents, a New Jersey copper and a Barber dime. Variety is the spice of life. Nice going.

Very nice finds! congratulations :occasion14:!

The piece in your hand looks a lot like a tooth from an old garden push cultivator. An iron spoked wheel up front,a wooden wishbone shaped frame/handles and the cultivator teeth(about5 I remember) were mounted in a semi-circle behind front wheel. My dad used his well into the 1950's.

Great hunt man. I did an overlay and side by side. See what you think. Good luckImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460296588.131029.webp

It definitely could be. I thought this one lined up better when I looked last night but I don't know how to do the side by side thing ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1460299174.704498.webp
