Nickel strike error?

Found this while going through a roll of nickels. Can barely see outline of Thomas and no letters/date. The reverse is normal looking with normal wear. Is this a strike error.

Also found the 1936 Buff. tonight in a different roll. And the Canadian nickel and a US dime. Weird. Who puts a dime in a nickel roll? ???

That is definetly a planchet error. It does not make the coin worth a lot but it is a neat coin to hold on to.
