Just curious, how many of you regular half hunters keep NIFC halves (other than filling a hole in a halves collection)?

Been going through some skunky boxes this week but have found a fair amount of NIFCs in each box (including a 2012d I needed). I've put aside a roll's worth of various NIFC halves, but have otherwise been throwing them back lately.

I always keep them, makes me feel like I found something rather than nothing! lol

I usually just keep proofs. I did used to keep all the post-2001 halves, but I got bored of them.

I don't keep them, just the proofs I find, I allready have a complete set from 1971 to 2012 of proofs and probably 3 more rolls if assorted dates, thinking if throwing them on feebay, I have seen some people selling assorted date lots with decent bids on them. HH, Maverick.

I've collected 2 sets of the nifcs and that's it for now-

just keep stacking, just keep stacking, stacking stacking stacking

Got a bag with 848 of them a couple months bag. Literally almost half the bag was nifcs. Pulled them all out listed them on ebay and they sold after about 4 weeks. After fees and shipping i made like 15 bucks...imagine how long it would take to get 848 pulling a few here and a few there. IMO, they arent near worth tying up your money with at this point in time.

I dumped a little over a roll of NIFCs this weekend. Decided there were other things that made more sense to sell on eBay. Picked up some foreign while dumping them. My Canadian pile continues to grow and I also found a Swiss half franc.

Bought a nice little selection of coins on Saturday. Will post more on that later. Highlights are a 1845 half dime, 1873 nickel three cent, Denver 1960 mint set and 13 silver Roosies.

I keep them, ONLY because I have a buyer who pays $0.80 a piece :D

80 cents each is a good price if there isn't any fees involved, like on ebay.

Any condition? BU? AU? a little beat up?

I think a lot of CRHers keep them until they have in their view too many.
Then, they try and figure out, if it is worth it to sell them vs. dump them.

I dumped $30 in NIFCs on Friday. Picked up a box Saturday which had $25 worth. Lol.
