Night hunt at new site turns up three goodies

I have this new site I only hunt when it gets dark.
Hunted it last night and in around 2 hours came up with some trash and these.
I believe the cross is brass as it rang up just below a copper penny and Brasso worked good.
The two IH are 1904 and 1898.
I'm hitting the site again tonight.

That cross looks a little "goldish" to me. Large gold items of 14k or less can read high, and that cross would qualify.

Nice work on the darkenedshadowshaunting. I hunt only in the daytime, but I wear a ski mask.

Nice finds. The last time I did a night hunt was at a couple old houses way back in the woods. I was too scared and nervous to do much good. I could just imagine getting jumped! That is all I had was a head lamp. Take care, Bryan in NC

Well, the bugs are not as bad and it's much cooler.
The main reason is that with work, three kids, a wife, 2 cats, 1 dog, and a honey-do list that is ever growing; it's time that I can enjoy myself without feeling guilty.

I kinda thought that there was a better explanation, just had to reassure myself of that. We have some around here that are making bad name for the hobby by hunting at night.....
