NJ Hurricane Hunt 108 coins silver Chain & Cross
Got out at 9:45am with Matt and his dad. We had to head north cause of police presents waving us down. About a 1/2 hr later they opened that section up to all. (different towns different rules?)Brian was right on this was NO nor'easter I would take a good nor'easter any day! This devastated the beaches, targets were high and the sand down low became spongy! However targets could be had for those who braved the waves rolling in. I saw one hunter with several pieces of gold and I found the chain in what became waist deep water as I dug it. Skimmers were out in force as noted by there drilled beer mug scoops! LOL! At one point there were 16 hunters in one section of beach 1/2 miles long. Glad I hunted but was disappointed on the results. The quarters are silver the Chain and cross is .925 .925 toe.Coin count $14.03 43 quarters 20 dimes 20 nickles 28 pennies 1 token 1 silver toe and a button.Of my markers that show during sand loss only one from the Oct 2009 storm were present! pilings that are seen during the winter were still covered.
