Back down to earth....
Dad & I nicknamed this the No.1 field for good finds as over the past few years it has come top for quantity of finds like hammered & Tokens plus all ages of goodies.
We have really hammered it & are really awaiting a deep plough but as the Wheat has been harvested we wanted to see what we left.
It was pretty hot today & the stubble was not too bad (pretty low) but we only did 3 hours:
3 Scrappies
Rose Farthing (1620s)
17th C Token
Folded over 18th C pewter button (maybe military)
Cut hammered of Henry III
