must have been a hardy breed to walk around with 1/2 a ton of iron on their person , that highland badge is pretty neat ! your mediocre days are still great to see for me. Do you reinforce the floor joists or store that iron on a concrete floor lol ?

Its only this special field that produces with this kind of crazyness. We had over 400 records last year (doesn't include things like buttons, modern stuff & broken buckles etc..), & I think about 250 this year, coming up for 70 hammered in 2 years :o

Not sure how we will replace it once we have sucked off most of it :-\

Maybe, but I get broken buckles in lots of fields :-\ This one more than most :icon_thumright:
