Hit some woods this morning that border an old golf course, thought for sure I might nab a few old coins since this area has had a lot of activity even before the course was opened. Well, no coins, but a hell of a lot of balls.

Unbelievable to me, some of these balls are pretty expensive, and not that far of the course. Pretty expensive county club, so I guess if you can afford to golf there you can afford to leave them in the woods. Fine with me!

Someone needs a lesson or two. Or three. Or start Treasure hunting.:laughing7:

I'd say that's par for the course!

Them balls are good as gold. Way back in 1969, my best friends property backed up to the 16th green on the local golf coarse. We would sneak in at night and go out in the ponds to retrieve lost balls. We would average a couple hundred balls a night. We would wash them and set up a table at the 16th green and resell them along with Chek Cola's. We bought cases of Chek Cola at kmart for 11 cents each and resold them for a dollar. We did this a couple of times a month and always made enough to pay for a weekend at Dragway 42! Good Times!

i used to go into the ponds at night and find a ton of those and sell them back to the rich country clubbers thats how it goosh

My first job when I was a little kid was retrieving balls from the woods. The pro would give me $40 for 100 good balls. I thought I was rich lol

Nice work on the ball finds. I’m sure you could sell them.
