no idea where to start???

so ive got a lot of bada$$ rocks, and i swear they look just like some of these crystals, gems that you see on the internet in collections costing thousands of dollars. I cant seem to get a clear answer on where to go. A few of them have been identified on this sight, but alot of them I get no answer.

Try a local rock guy...maybe a "smart" high school teacher...or a local college?

You say some of them have been identified here, from pictures? Clear sharp pictures of your rocks will go a long way with identification either here or elsewhere on the web. Geology of the earth is the field for identifying your rocks so a geology teacher or Association is one starting point. Another is a library in their geology section for pictures to compare your pictures/rocks to. This is a research project and only with hours of looking and trying will you come up with everything identified. What do you want to do with you mineral collection?...........63bkpkr
