Wife and I hit a wooded area close to where I found the adz a few weeks ago, the fields had just been planted. We just had a frost a few days ago and thought maybe it was just on the start of the timing for them to pop up.

We found no mushrooms so I walked down the edge of the field to get around the water and check out another area for a later shroom hunt and found a point.

Yell back to the wife who just got into the truck. She came over to it and found it. The point was laying flat clearly visible.

I jumped back into the woods. When I came back out she was still walking in the field. She showed me two flakes she had found. We decided to take off for home and dinner and I spotted another buried in the dirt on the way out.

There was a lot of corn stubble from last year so these two were lucky finds in the messy field.

I will take that anytime over mushrooms....and I love mushrooms!! Haha. Nicely done!

Nice looking point. The morels haven't popped here yet either. We've had the right amount of moisture, but the temps aren't quite high enough yet.
