5-Silver Day
It's been a long time since I had a 5 silver day....
Went out to a park that didn't produce much...
On the way home and doing some ReCon I stopped off at a house that Skinny Puppy and I hit a few times last year.
I have hit this place by myself about 5 times too.
It's a corner house built in the 1920's.
Rang the bell and asked the owner if it was ok to look around for an hour... Have at and Good Luck....
Walked around the front not much.. 1 wheatie... and a 1950 play 10 cent coin....
Went to the back yard and bam a 1943d George...3 feet over...Bam a 1942 Merc..
Moved about 5 feet got a weird broken up signal and then dug the plug to see 2 silver dimes in the hole...They turned out
to be 2 Rosie's, a 1954d and a 1958d.
Walked 10 feet and got 2 wheaties and a 49 Nickel in the same hole.
5 minutes later I got a broken signal that kept jumping around on the numbers. I dug it cause it was a yard and not some park. Glad I did.. There on the side of the hole was a 1947 George standing up on edge... I just ever so slightly hit it with the digger.
This place has had over 20 silvers and probably 150 wheat pennies dug... I never thought that there were 5 silvers still there..
Just after I got the 4th I called Neil to see how those guys were doing... I felt bad after that cause they weren't finding much.....
It was my lucky day... I just happen to dig the right junky signals....Like playing cards.....
I needed this... My last several weeks have not produced much at all.... Those are indeed Meager compared to today...

Thanks for looking.....HH
