Well, It is Montana. I think there's a rule that states, if it walks, crawls, runs or fly's you shoot it. Down here a lady asked why I chucked a rock at a coyote that seemed a little comfortable walking a little to close imo. It was like what did that coyote ever do to me. Now they have signs out in the open space that suggest throwing rocks at any coyote you encounter that doesn't seem to be too afraid of you.
