Every time I go down to CWB I swear I am not going back there. So far I have never found anything there and I know it's there. Sheesh. This morning turned out to be one of my "tired" days and I just couldn't hunt for long. I wanted to get in the water and although it didn't look too bad - every time I got in the water I would get knocked around. I can't hunt in water like that so I will leave it to you hardier guys n gals. I met up with several other MD'ers and one showed me a beautiful ring he found there last week very similar to the beautiful sapphire ring that Florida Bill found a while back. This one was very similar but the stone was not quite a big but still a very pretty ring. I would have been proud to find it that is for sure! Well no pictures today because I only found 1 penny. Big deal! Hope you gng's are doing much better! ::)

be thankfull you can go out enjoy !!

Well you tried. A good day maybe to just sit back, have a cup of tea and admire the two gold rings you found last week. Our water hunting season here in MN has alas ended as of yesterday so I be doing much of the same for the next nine months. Sigh

AAA+++ for the effort. It was darn-hot out there and there was plenty of competition..I moved to a different beach down the road with free parking..i had better luck there.

Hey mumzsie, keep at it!!!! you saw my take from yesterday ~ 2 hour drive each way, and battling the crushing surf out in the mine, and a few coins, a cell phone, and junk.

The rings are there, we just need to keep at it!!!!!!

Good luck next time ~ I have a feeling you are going to find a killer of a ring!!!!

Jim

the beaches are being stingy all over, but persistence will help pry the goodies from them :)

You are not alone Mumszie. My beach hunting season has been less than thrilling. However, I believe that every time I go out I'm going to find something good. So keep believing and keep at it.

Hey Mumszie, I can relate to the "tired days". The lure of the unrescued pull tab calls though and gets me out and about for the beep-beep fix. Did a local lake beach yesterday with only some clad and the usual bottlecaps and pull tabs. Someone must have gotten mad at a photo. I found a fairly new digital camera in about 5 pieces, each in their own hole. The lake close to me is an Army Corp of Engineers flood control lake. They drop it about 15' this month in order to catch the fall and winter rains. Our version of a super minus tide. I'll be doing the swim beaches as they become totally exposed. Anyway, any day on the beach sure beats about anything else! Hope you get out and find some gold soon!!!
