Hello, first post.....

the only dump methods here are bag and send away, 5 rolls a day at my credit union, a 2percent charge self serve at my CU, or a bank with a sorter behind the counter.

I opened a savings account at the bank with the behind counter sorter since its free.

My first dump was Monday, about $300 mixed.
When she was done I asked for the rejects. She said there is no reject chute....

first dump, so I froze and left.

anyone run into this?

Hello. Welcome aboard. You might think about getting out while you're still sane............

My only experience with self service machines have a reject "drawer" that you check (when prompted by the machine) at the end of the counting cycle. I did used to dump cents at a bank where a teller would run them through the counter in a back room, but I have no idea whether it had a reject slot. Sorry I can't be more help.

I'd say expand your horizons.* Paying a fee or having a limit on dumping will really reduce any "profit" you realize from your CRH experience. Not that any of us make any money doing this, but losing a great deal of money isn't very appealing either.

*Edit. Find some more dump banks.

Hi BMT and welcome. There must be a magnet on that machine. Ask for any rejects stuck to the magnet. (In case you had any non US coin mixed in, that you didn't know about.) Coin hunters know what they are dumping but she doesn't need to know that.

I've used machines that dump rejects into the half bag.

You may have the answer, she had to change the half bag part way through my dump, we both noticed a penny in the bag, she commented that it seemed strange.

You have restored my faith in tellerhood.
