Hope you find that ring today. Wtg digging a merc. yesterday.

Good luck on that ring Scrounger! Had a few successful ring recoveries over the years, a few failures.

I know some of the guys have their ETracs set so they see iron, they'll have to chime in on the settings for that if possible.

If the ring is lost in her yard, has she raked/mowed or thatched since it was lost?
Has she disposed of leaf litter in bags or compost pile?
Wearing gloves when she lost it?
Light jacket/windbreaker?
After work wash up inside or outside?"

If the loss was recent, there should be no need to dig, just get to the point where she removed the gloves, took off the jacket or windbreaker, raked the grass/leaves into piles or bags or fueled and started the lawn equipment.

I had one lady tell me she lost five rings one day while gardening with her sister. Seemed statistically impossible and I told her it was almost certain she had removed them prior to the work or during wash up after work. She insisted she had not and so I checked all their work and nothing. Yes, she had her windbreaker in her truck prior to the work but steadfastly refused to believe she could have left the rings in there. Almost a week later I heard from her that the rings were in her windbreaker, behind the seat of her truck.

backyard during a family football game.

thanks soup and all too.

i try to do whatever it takes. theres a whole world of iron under

there that us minelab guys never see.

sometimes though if its too infested u gotta clear it.

this bh is a junky little machine but in doing so is great as it finds

only the really big pcs of iron.if i set one of my tesoros on all

metal it would beep almost constantly.

dont know what happened on ring. was not called back.

mebbe they found it.
