Non stick coating for sand scoops.

Well folks, I think I have gone completely mad. I am sat here with a bad back instead of tearing up the beach and I just got thinking about my new sand scoop, it's the usual long handle type stealth clone from the Ukraine, and I have notice the when I take a scoop full of wet sand and turn it upside down to empty it, the sand sticks in it as one big mass until I tap the scoop with my foot, so I started thinking about non stick?
There are a few spay on products out there that claim to be spray on non stick, used on snow blowers, snow plough blades ECT, so what do you think, will this work on a sand scoop and speed up recovery times? Or have I gone completely mad

I think it's a great idea! I hate getting the sand out of my scoop, weighs a ton!

It would be hard for a spray to last long on a scoop. Sand is a lot different than snow, snow isn't abrasive. Maybe something like cerakote could at least last long enough to be useful.

I work for a John Deere dealership and we have a product call super lube, it's a Teflon based spray, I have a can on my beach at work, I will give it a shot next weekend and report my findings.

I like your thinking seems a good product. There has to be a simple solution to this problem, even something like autogylm super resin polish designed for car paintwork may work

I've used car wax on mine and seems to work for an easier release of the sand.
