Loaded up the skiff and the Wife and I headed out with our Minelab Go-Find 66. Needed something super lite, simple and packable. I read some posts on techniques and did my research. One that stuck in my head was if it is a crusty piece don’t pitch it. It was so oxidized from the salt water I didn’t even think it was a coin.......got home......read a post on how to clean up something Silver. Did the baking soda and hot water several times. This is as far as I got and went when I realized what it was. NOW I need advise on what to do. Take it to a coin shop to let the pros take over?

I got it pretty well cleaned. Looks like a 1939
