Just what it is may be a mystery but I can tell you what it says. It is issued by "Strong Electric Corporation" out of Toledo Ohio. Century of Progress was a phrase used in the 1933-34 Chicago Exposition World's Fair. The phrase emerged several times during the following decades and in 1960 there were strides in improving movie theaters and projectors, spotlights for theater performances etc. This was their specialty and thus may have brought to the fore that this was a "Third of a Century of Progress", but in 1960. However that variant of the phrase is much older than even the World's Fair and here has no connection. So,was it a token? ....no clue.

Villagenut, your definitely on it. I searched the Strong Electric Company and found an article referencing "A Third of a Century of Light" in 1960. So a little more of the puzzle unfolds.
