North Ga Points?

Last Sunday I followed up on a tip that I got from a local guy who said that he has a few shoe boxes full of points that he found when he was a kid on the shore of this little bay on Allatoona Lake. After 4 hours of walking between the high water mark and where the water is now I found what I think is a flake, that's it. Anyone have any luck in my area?
