I am going on a family trip to North Topsail beach NC next week, anyone had any luck or have any tips?

I'll be about 5 miles from Sneads ferry. Sorry, don't have any tips for you. Last year there was quite a lot of iron pieces. Wish you luck. I did find a fair amount of clad and one silver infinity ring.

PM me if you want someone to MD with. All of the beaches here are really clean right now. There is just a lot of sand and a lot of people detecting - so fresh drops seem to be the only thing out there. I have talked to a few other guys that have said the same thing. We need a storm!

I do have a few tips:

1. Have fun
2. Go in the morning or night when the crowds are gone
3. Have fun
