Metal Detecting
We had 19 of our metal detector club members show up for a hunt at an abandoned resort near the Russian River in northern California.

We received permission to hunt this area for only about 3 hours so we worked it as fast as we could!

We dug out 17 silver coins in that small window of time! I got lucky with 4 silver dimes and 9 wheat pennies! We had a blast, it was neat seeing many of our club members finding silver coins! Even Reid at age 80 found one!:hello2:

Is your group still active? I have heard about it but not for a long time. I would like to attend a meeting if allowed. I met Rodney years ago on a jobsite when he worked for Lunardi Electric.
I assume that the site you were hunting was being demo'd and something else is built there now.
I live in Occidental.

Permission is great , but why only 3+ hours ? just curious about the tiny window ?
