Meant to say. Nuff said. Lol

Are Ike's even worth keeping I recently picked up $40 in Ike's the other day none were good so I took them back? I'm talking about the ones that are clad btw

There are silver ones, there are varieties that are valuable in the clad.

I like Ike! Nice finds.

How many total did you get from the bank on that day?

Bank had total of 8 dollars that somebody turned in in a ziplock bag.....

Your so lucky hahah.. I thought I was lucky finding 40 Ike's at one bank yet mine had nothing worth over face value

I have only found 3 ever. Very uncommon find!

I stopped at the bank and they only had one Ike. It was a 1974D and the earth is so worn I can't tell what type it is, but it's not silver. Two other banks had no Ikes or half's. Two other banks said the 'usual guy' keeps them cleaned out.

From wiki-The coin was struck again for circulation in 1974, was included in mint sets and proof sets, and was available in proof and uncirculated silver clad from San Francisco.

From what I was reading, no silver 1974's were in circulation, just issued as proof's? That would mean a silver 74 would be very valuable, and the circulated 74's worth about $1?

(I'm new at this- trying to learn)

Congrats on the silver.

Ty Ty Ty ty

Never tried the Ikes before. how is your luck with them? same as halves and quarters or better?
