They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is a picture. You can probably guess what I pulled up out of this fast moving muddy river. First clue, it isn't the aluminum boat!

Took me about a half hour to find the critter. It flew off a boat last Sunday.

Well, I see a huge chain with HUGE links, and those ain't cheap! Neither are anchors...or huge outboard engines..Lol...Ddf
 
Im guessing since it flew off a week ago id say you found that lunker of a motor!
I hoping the owner is very happy and can get it running again!

You are right. It flew off but the cover stayed in the boat! Ripped the battery wires and the fuel line out but it probably will run again.

Ddf, I know you got it right also! 30hp outboard.
 
Glad it wasn't a 115hp Mercury.

He hired me to find it. It was in 8' of very muddy water. He tried to find it but had no success. I did after about half an hour. He is in the orange shirt.
