Went to the farm at Antietam toady....spent most of the time lookin' for a new spot to put my stand for next Friday's early muzzleloader opener, should be pretty good.....On the way out I hit where they're building a new equipment shed...got a little earth moved so I decided to hit that area and came out with just one 3ringer and some farm field stuff....so it wasn't a total loss...Actually is was time well spent in my book!!!!HH...

Sweet man, I knew there was potential in that spot. I still think we need to check around the house if I make it out there again with you. There is bound to be some silver waiting for us!!!!

Civil...hope ya found a good location for your stand...bow season here now (I don;t bow hunt) shotgun season opens the end of this month and muzzleloader in Dec.....will have a major conflict on my hands....deer hunt or detect??? Definite dilema, but a win/win situtation...:):) Good luck next week, I hope a BIG buck walks right under your stand...:)

Good way to put it Maine.....win/win situation for sure.....Have you ever tried grilled lead ;D ;D....

Definately a keeper there, Civil! Would have had to have done a bit of a happy dance with that find! ;D Good luck hunting!

Nana :)

Congrats on your finds civilman1. Say I have wanted to ask you what do you use for headphones? I can't make it out.

Take care.
Burdie

Congratulations I have no civil war relics at all. That 3 ringer looks pretty darn good in my book.

Civil ,real nice 3 ringer!! One of those makes the trip worth it. :)

Nice find Civilman! Hope you get a deer or two, deer burgers mixed with a little pork or beef are really tasty. Do you ever make deer jerky? I have a Nesco dehydrator and have made many pounds of beef jerky, nice way to pass the winter months. HH, Mike

Oh man, how I'd like to dig a nice 3-ringer! :o That picture is so great!

Just think, most likely some soldier dropped that bullet some 146 years ago.

Great find.
