I got $600 in halves from a small rural bank Friday. $460 in hand rolled, with lots of different phone#/names, and $140 in machine rolls. Nada on the machine rolls, but 22 40%ers from the others.

Gotta love those lil' rural banks, where the rolls get turned in and just sit in the vault for years...

Nice finds! Somewhere out there right now sitting in a bank vault is $1000's of dollars worth of $20 rolls...ALL Walkers...All you have to do is go in and ask for them! ;D HH

Do you happen to know which bank that is killerwine? I'll race you to it! :D

WTG, Cap'n! That's a nice profit.

Silver's at a level now ($10.86/oz. as I write this) where the public is going to get more interested and halves will get harder and harder to find.

D'oh!!

Can't beieve I missed that one! :D

That's how it is here. You can't find a half here at all because there are so many others here looking for them.

I didnt have a great day either. Picked up roughly 500$ between Austin and Abilene and got zilch. One town even asked me if I was searching them, and told me I wasnt alone, they get alot of back and forth. The tellers were irritated. Oh well. Oh, and Compass Banks refused to sell me halves b/c I wasnt a member. Boo. :)
