All I found today is a 3/4 inch X 3 foot piece of what used to be a water line I guess.. Not even worth posting a pic and hardly worth mentioning at all except I'm bored.. :unhappysmiley: .

Keep looking! I was In a drought where all I got was pull tabs then went back to that same sight and got my first gold ring! HH

Thanks bblaha, I haven't given up yet. Just got to keep plugging away at it....

Keep at it, i feel that way alot and I just started. The thing i love the most about this site (i live a a minute from the gulf coast) is the success stories... The crazy, I just found a 20k rolex or 3 gold ring days on the beach for a few hours. I read those type of stories every time i'm looking for a little push to get me out there! If we keep it up and keep pushing through those, so called waste of times, we'll have those stories to tell. It's great. I appreciate the "snaked" stories like yours just as much! Were not alone............ Thank You Wily Dunk

I agree with beckleeson, thats why I come on here is so I dont let my frustration get the best of me.

I had 4 or 5 hunts in a row, pretty much all of september where I found just about nothing, I'm not discouraged at all, it just means I'm that much closer to having a good day. It's at least in part a numbers game, (location is the biggest part) dig enough holes there will be something good in one of them. Two things to remember it's hunting, not gathering, AND at least "some" of those fantastic posts never happened.

Thanks all for the words of encouragement...I will not lose faith and will find that pot of gold (or silver) one day... lol
