Had about an hour to kill this afternoon, hit my favorite, but well worked over woods. ALWAYS something left :-)
It's part of an old Army Airbase, cool part is, base only active 1941-1945, so pretty much anything you dig out there is going to be old.
Just a couple of buttons and a wheat, but the smaller button marked "U.S.A." Is a new size and design to my growing collection of WW-II relics and that's always fun too...
Larger button stamped "U.S. Army" but I've quite a few of those already.
Just good weather today to be out wandering the woods :-)
