Found while crossing a small feeder creek on a friends ranch in SE Missouri yesterday. I've never really seen or heard of an artifact all that similar to this one coming from our neck of the woods so I'm kind of at a loss for what it might be. And yes... I dropped it and broke it on the tile floor the second I got home and walked in the door. REALLY made my day Geeze Louise!

Possible crinoid stem/column fossil visible in the 5th photo?

had the same thought here on scythe hone, in fact you can still buy hones in that tapered shape for them

What is the engraving in top right pic in particular. Is this characters/symbols or what? I can't read it.
 

Great job on the ID and good eye on the Germany stamp. All done very quickly and correctly. That's awesome.
