Hey guys,
Me and Washingtonian got out for a couple hours today before it got too dark. Living in Seattle, you have to get out whenever it's not raining.

I've been out several times since September, but haven't found a silver coin for almost 2 months.

We got permission to detect a friends yard and the sidewalk strips around the area.

About an hour in, I find a quarter on top of the ground. It's a Canadian quarter from 1968. I knew that Canadian quarters have different silver years than the US so I look it up and sure enough it's silver! First silver coin in almost 2 months and all I had to do was pick it up off the ground. 15 minutes later I find a 64 silver Rosie. Not a bad day at all!

So awesome. Great job man! Fun to see you break the funk twice over!

Glad your silver slump is over. Nice finds.

I was hunting an older park last year and was juuuust missing the mark....65, 66, 67 quarters and dimes galore, but no silver...my second trip there and I score a Canadian quarter exactly like yours, at least now I can say I scored silver there...congrats on a great hunt...Ddf

A few nice finds there. You might want to check the quarter. While Canada made .500 quarters in '68, they also made them in nickel. The silver one will go 5.83 grams and the nickel one weighs in at 5.06.
