Not RARE, but kind of unusual.

Was sorting a box of cents, extracting wheaties & coppers, and out pops a 1943-D steelie in fine condition. Over all the years of checking cent boxes, this is the first steel cent I found in a box that made it through the steel magnets of the coin sorters & counters/rollers. Most of the time I find steel cents stuck to the magnets when tellers have to empty or unclog machines. Just an UNUSUAL FIND, that's all.

Very cool. I have only found 1 steel cent and it was in a CWR.
