Not so much what I found but how

Visiting a nearby junior high I hit noticed there must have been another hunter there recently due to the 4-5 inch round plugs surrounding the bleachers. I hit on a penny squarely on top of a plug from the previous hunter. I just picked up the plug of sod and hit it with my pinpointer and the penny was stuck to the bottom of the plug. I guess the last person missed it. Not much of a find but humerous. That thing was as black as the soil and hard to see.

That's why I always double check a plug when I dig. I've also found coin's where someone else has dug, and missed them. Good luck, and HH.....
