✅ SOLVED Not sure what this is.

I found this a couple of weeks ago and after cleaning it up some, I was able to make out a design. I think it may be a cosmetic lid but I could be way off. I believe the metal is copper. Any help with a positive ID and age would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have found a couple of those in old parks here in New York. I agree they are parts of ladies compacts late 1880s - 1910.

What's the record for redundant answers? Well, I agree.
But I'll say it looks 1920's-30's to me, due to the deco-ness. It likely was previously silver plated.
