NOX 800 NEWBIE

What is the best setting for the Nox 800 to find gold along rivers and banks etc. There is Gold 1 and Gold 2 not sure the difference. I also have the larger coil for now. Will I still be able to find gold with the larger coil. Is there a number the detector reads that is more likely gold?

With gold I have from other prospecting adventures, I get a reading between 1-5. That being said, I dig EVERYTHING and have never found gold on our beaches or parks.

I'll be hitting the creeks after more snow melts away and hopefully find something there

If I could offer you only 2 tips which will massively Improve you finds and STOP large Iron making coins and rings etc seeem non-existent, then It wouild be...well 3 actually:

1: Do not bother with some people's "spexcily named/made up programs

2:
Turn Iron bias fe1 to ZERO
Same with FE2 - set It to ZERO

If you would like I can make a video proving my 1000% FACT, that setting Iron bias to zero, thus giving YOU the decision If It's a good target or not.....stock/standard Iron bias of 6 I guarantee blocks out completely a LOT of good Ir or not, Rather than Setting 6 as standard on NOX, I know for a FACT....It will tell you stacks of times that there IIS nothing there, but setting It to zero I KNOW will increase your finds 500%.
