My dad found these on a civil war site but we have found 1880's era stuff there as well.
They look and feel like lead and they were cast because I can see air pockets in them.
It's throwing me off because there is no white patina, but it looks like lead that was found in a creek. They came from low ground though that floods periodically.
I'm not even sure what they're made of. Are they Civil War or post war?
