Nugget Hunting / Training

I'm headed up to Sacramento on the Jan 29th. Can anybody train me on aspects of nugget hunting for gold.I will bring pan( never used) and detector.. Willing to travel to location

I'd recommend hitting up one of the local prospecting shops. They'd be happy to help you, and it would contribute to the local business there.

AOSDC-It takes many years to learn what ya want. Look local,be it gem & mineral clubs,metal detecting or gold clubs. Hit the yellow pages and mine them for info on locals who mine.Where are you?? Clubs of one kind or another are everywhere and all clubs have great folks who do almost all of the arts of mining. The clubs exist with a small core of dedicated individuals and a ton a sheep. Sometimes the joy of prospecting is being one of the flock sharing good times and golden dreams,you'd be amazed how much ya learn having fun!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
