I have my finds posted on the recent finds under "4th day newbie pics" I have found a little piece looks like a cap to something, threaded inside, about the same cicumference as a nickle. But anyways it says "Made in occupied Japan" I am wondering does this mean this item was made after the 2nd WW when we occupied Japan? This find was down about 10 inches or so but looks sshiny brand new, must be made stainless stell or something, no corosion what so ever. Thanks for your input.

I have a bubble level I got from my dad that was made in "Occupied Japan". Supposedly the stuff marked "Occupied Japan" can be worth some bucks. Stuff marked "Occupied Texas (http://www.occupiedtexas.com), however, may not be worth so much...

Hi Mystro! That's a great cap you found. I have a small collection of "occupied Japan" things and was fascinated to see what you had found. If you look on Ebay, there is a large quantity of stuff from occupied Japan. Never have seen a cap like yours though. If it were me, I'd hold onto it because it might be rare as something like that would most often have just been thrown away.
