ocean city md. beaches?

There is miles of beach along the board walk. Just step off the boards.
Indian River Inlet on the North side of the bridge, I heard of old coins found from a wreck long ago. I think this is called coin beach. (?)

Have fun and let us know how you do.

It's called "coin beach, Delaware". It's about 15 minutes drive north of O.C. in Rehobeth or Dewey. I'll be in O.C. on Mon. till Wed. I would detect at the north end of the boards where the boardwalk trolley turns around. The beach is still wide there and gets alot of traffic. REMEMBER...The machines sift the beach clean EVERY evening! They get all the trash as well as all the goodies. So...the best time to detect is between say 5PM and about 7PM. I'd venture to guess that those are the wealthiest garbage men in Maryland if not the East Coast! I can't wait to get down myself as it will be my first time detecting the beach. It will be a practice run for the end of the month when I go to Hilton Head for a week. Post some pics if you find anything good, I know I will. Good Luck.
