Octagonal toy piece

So I was by a fence post at an old foundation and i found this toy piece thing. It has a monkey or dog on one side and a clock thing on the other, no writing on it. I tried finding info but just can't. You guys got anything?

Yeah, that's the exact same thing mine just in a little bit better condition, it looks like it had something on the top like a loop, I was thinking a necklace or just a fake watch for kids, I don't know, really puzzling

I have also found the same thing. Mine isn't in as good of shape, but does have most of a loop/ring on top. I also thought some kind of a kids necklace.

May be a wild shot, but objects somewhat similar were attached to a new pair of shoes. Maybe the reverse image or the clock was a logo for the company.
also, watch fob is an idea.
Just offering the idea of it being some sort retail item advertising attachment.
Retail is just a cheap box today and they're getting away from that using plastics...haha

Thanks for the idea of watch fob, that's what I looked up and I found that piece. It's the exact same thing but with a cowboy hat instead of A monkey
