October 5th finds from an old highschool football field

I only found three coins today but 2 of them were silver

I hear ya Mike, if I could sustain a ratio like that I would not have to work. Larry did you find these "on" the football field or on the edges of it? I've hunted older fields from HS but figured it would be futile to hunt the actual field. Two Denver Rosie's, Nice work.

I have found silvers right in the middle of this field but it was early this spring when the grass wasn't standing up like it is right now, I found all three of these coins in an area by the sidelines where there's not quite as much grass and it's more detectable, there's also a good sized woods you can hunt there too.

Silver normally comes out of the ground that clean.

I think I got 53 right now. I've gotten quite a few silver objects this year as well. Quite a few silver rings, etc.
