odd find

Went out yesturday in my backyard. Been there many times but with and acre and a half still finding things. Found this pendant and thought it mite be for the ford motor company, but discovered it's a family crest. About an inch long, not steel as a magnet doesn't effect it and rang as silver.

Well after further review, the call is overturned. It's not a family crest but it's for the 1950 ford custom and deluxe automobiles. Found this out by researching more pics and was confirmed last nite on American pickers as they found an old ford sign with the same logo.

Could it be part of a Ford key Fob ? Seems like i had one of them many years back ?
