🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Odd Glass Object

I found this recently while metal detecting an old home site. There was an old rubber squeeze bulb nearby - too far gone to salvage that I thought might have gone with it. It reminded me of an older version of an ear wash device. It certainly is an odd shape - perhaps someone will recognize it. 4" long with a 2 1/2" flared base.

Aha - it is the glass base of a red bulb manual breast pump c. 1940 - now that's a first for this detector!
