✅ SOLVED Odd Iron Piece

Hello All. I found this a few days ago at a home/grove site that has produced items of interest back to the 1880's.

At first I thought it was brass cuz it is very intact but a magnet test says it's iron. It has some decorative engraving on it but no lettering or numbers.

Let me know if you know what it is. Thanks for the view and good luck to all. C9

PS maybe a good candidate for electrolysis?
