Got this in a large estate from a Japanese women which leads me to believe it's Japanese. However I cannot find a similar one anywhere in my searches.
It is non magnetic and rings like a silver coin. It appears to be royalty of some sort and has makers mark so I doubt it is really currency but you never know.
