Office find!!! A bunch of people who worked on the same floor as I do relocated to a different building a month or so ago. So naturally after the required wait I go on the search for left behind pens, post-it notes and paper clips. Buried at the bottom of someones junk drawer I find what looks like a 1 oz. silver coin. It's not marked as silver, but dang, the weight is spot on (US silver eagles weigh 31.1 grams) and it was inside a round plastic protective case. Once I got it home I did an acid test and it came up as pure silver. I'm callin' it silver! It probably was a gift to a sales person from a vendor.
And for the nit-pickers out there, I contacted the person who moved out of the desk and he said it wasn't his and that it was probably in there since before he got the desk and just never noticed it.
