ok, I've tried like five times to update my 600, but it never responds

I have Windows 7 but that shouldn't be a problem. it says to hook up to a detector and I do but it doesn't ever do or say anything, just sits there. Now I struggle at times with electronics but I thought that this was cut and dry. I'm going to try it again after while but I guess that I will survive if it never takes, just aggravating. Sorry, just venting.

I just thought of a YouTube search. I searched “Equinox Windows update” the first video shows how to deal with the download utility not opening or downloading with Windows 7. The poster is “DoYouDig” it appears helpful.

oh I tried it on and off. followed directions etc. could be my service here.

Run the update in compatibility mode by right clicking on the update on your screen.
