Hi guys,
not sure this is the correct forum, but was the closest I could find.
I went to another tender auction held by an op shop (aus)
Not many appealing lots up for offer this time, but still made a few bids. Total spent $148.70
All up I won several lots. A lot including heaps of paintings (not my thing) $8, I thought the intricate frame was worth that on its own.

About 24 all up, included a "Robert Woods" repo on canvas, already sold for a $20. thought the frames would cover the cost alone. Behind the Woods canvas was a painting on steel (last pic) I removed the canvas to post in a tube.
A couple of complete slot car sets (for my kids)

two silver rings, a silver necklace and a "junk" jewellery lot (already sold on ebay for $42)
An American silver plate collection, by Oneida.
An old plain looking walking stick.
And a lot of old jewellery boxes including an old decanter set, only a couple looked any good for resale.

All in all, I didn't think I did too well, and would struggle to redeem my money, unless some of the paintings were worth some. That was until I went through the jewellery boxes, and stuffed behind two draws of one box I found a bunch of 9ct gold and silver jewellery
Nothing huge and not like what some of the finds on this site, but still a nice feeling to score.

And nearly forgot, I scored a solid antique platinum brooch for $30, I was not to sure on the price for platinum other than it was similar to gold, so I'm hoping it will do well
