Well, I actually found something other than a pulltab, so I am going to count this as my first realy Beach find. I went to a little beach that we have been to once or twice before, frequented mostly by patrons of a nearby hotel, although like most beaches here on the island, alot of people take their lunch break there also.
I took my little partner with his toy metal detector, so I only got to hunt about an hour and a half or so, but he had fun!
I am sure there is gold on this beach, I can smell it!
Here is what I found:
Bunch of Crapola
10yen=.09 or so U.S.
1977 U.S. quarter

I plan on hitting this beach without the little one, I am sure I can hit the whole area in 3 or 4 hours. I was glad to find any coins at all, I was beginning to doubt my MD
Unfortunately I bought a Prism III before we moved out here, so I am multi tasking it until I find enough to buy a Beach MD. Assuming any jewelry I find doesn't end up on wife's hand of course!
