Y'all are probably going to get tired of me posting stuff! We went back to our homestead hotspot for a couple of hours and found some great things. My daughter found her first wheat penny(1916) and I found an 1898 Indian head penny. Both are in pretty rough condition--lots of green deposits--I tried some hot peroxide and it removed some of the deposits. Also found an unusual piece of jewelry(?)(very ornate, brass or copper), a spoon, a 3 prong fork, harmonica reed, lantern part, lead shot and a flattened piece of lead, shotgun shells, and some misc. metal pieces(one looks like another jewelry piece or bezel), and lots of IRON junk!

We had to quit early because of bad weather_TORNADOS_in FEBRUARY!! Crazy weather!!! Only in Oklahoma!!
Here's some pictures and hope you enjoy! sandcreek4

k4Too early for tornados! The cellar hole that's on this site wouldn't be any good to us because it has collapsed--we headed for the house as soon as the clouds started looking ominous! sandcreek4

The weather is CRAZY but I sure like these balmy temperatures--better that 20 degrees and the wind blowing 40 miles an hour! sandcreek4

We had about 2 hours of metal detecting before those storms hit, I'm a big chicken when it comes to tornados and go the the cellar whenever a dark cloud blows in ::)~~~sandcreek4

GREAT VIDEO, Twin Digger! I love that music in the background, kinda Scottish highlands sounding stuff. Your Indains are in a lot better shape that mine--I've got green stuff on the one I found. regards, sandcreek4
