Hey all!

Dug 3+ hours at the old farmhouse, found the following:

The backs of the Indians were better than the fronts (1903 and some fatty), and the large copper is completely toasted. I can barely make out UNITED and STATES and a little of the wreath so it's gonna be a large cent, but not sure of the type. Maybe peroxide.

I spent 10 minutes searching for the other half of the shoe buckle(?), but I love the fancy on it.

The long. finial looking thing seems to be brass with a silver wash on the front... but the fancy is spectacular! Have absolutely no clue what it was used for, but there's a tiny hole in the back.

GL & HH!

Neat finds. I get the feeling that is a King William III halfpenny. 1695-1701 era. But u say large cent. Maybe I am seeing things.

Nice score on the buckle piece and old coppers. No detail I can make out on the large copper. I'd soak it a bit and see if you can get some crud off. Nice hunt!:headbang:

There's some great hand etching on those buckle frags. Could you provide a few better pics of the copper by chance ?

Nice hunt

Well done! I always like fancy buckles. I assume the pistol is a BB Gun? Looks like Luger. My dream pistol lol.
Congrats!

Could you provide a few better pics of the copper by chance?

It's so utterly smooth there are no 'good' pics of this thing, lol. But while still wet in the peroxide I could make out part of the word LIBERTY and the details of a draped bust cent. Possibly 1798. What do you guys think of my assessment?

That coin will be an interesting ID...The 9 looks like a 3 to me...???? Nice in any case.
